Makeup Revolution Radiant Light in Exhale

After seeing the beautiful Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder, I knew that I needed to get my hands on one asap, but just couldn't justify the £38 price tag for a powder. I do a lot of blog reading and searching the web in my spare time, so when I saw that Makeup Revolution Radiant Lights powders were a dupe for the Hourglass, but at a fraction of the price; I quickly ordered one. At only £5, the Makeup Revolution Radiant Light was definitely worth the small price tag!

Having never tried the Hourglass offerings, I cannot compare the two, but after using the Radiant Lights, I didn't really feel I was missing out on the Hourglass' £38 powder. A quick swirl with my brush around the pan, across my cheekbones, forehead and chin leaves my skin with a beautiful glow. It's really hard to describe; it's not shimmery, it doesn't make my skin look greasy, yet it highlights, blurs imperfections and give my skin that perfect, barely there finish.

I don't suffer from oily skin - mine is more on the dry/dehydrated side, but I don't find the powder dries out my skin or sits in any fine lines. I also find my foundation stays on better throughout the day. On a recent trip to Prague, I thought I'd forgotten to bring Exhale with me, so quickly darted into Superdrug at the airport and picked up the Radiant Light Highlighter Palette for £8!

For £5, you really cannot go wrong. This is my first ever Makeup Revolution purchase, but I will definitely be buying some more products from them. Their lipsticks look beautiful and so do their eyeshadow palettes, especially the New-trals vs Neutrals Palette which I'll be ordering when my student loan comes through!

Are there any products you recommend I try from Makeup Revolution?
