Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (£9.99) is designed to give your skin a boost of radiance, lasting up to 16 hours. Healthy Mix Foundation contains a mix of vitamin-rich fruits which are designed to leave your skin feeling hydrated and luminous; there is apricot which adds radiance, melon which hydrates; and apple for an anti-ageing effect. It is also enriched with crystalline pigments to even out the complexion while letting in the natural light for that healthy looking glow.
The formulation is a gel type texture which melts into the skin; upon application, it is definitely hydrating and feels lightweight. Coverage wise, Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation gives a light to medium buildable coverage, but evens out my skin very well considering I’m usually a full coverage kind of girl.
As someone with normal/dehydrated combination skin, the foundation works really well to add hydration to my skin, leaving it with a dewy and radiant finish. I don't find that it quite lasts all day, and unsure with regards to the 16 hour wear; around lunch time, I definitely need to add a little bit of concealer in certain areas where it has gone a little patchy or rubbed off.
Overall though, as a drug store brand of foundation, I am very pleased with the results, especially for the price and I would certainly repurchase. Usually, I wear Smashbox Studio Skin (review here) or Estee Lauder Double Wear, alongside a few different MAC foundations depending on how my skin is looking and feeling.
