Rimmel London Glam Eyes Eye Shadow Palette in Brixton Brown
Rimmel London HD Glam Eyes Eye Shadow Palette in Brixton Brown is a product I picked up after reading about it on so many blogs. It had mixed reviews, but for the price and whilst it was on 3 for 2 at Boots, I decided I couldn't really go wrong.
The HD Glam Eyes Eye Shadow Palette contains five colour; a neutral, nude shimmer, perfect for a base; a taupe; a mid brown with a slight shimmer; a dark brown; and a gorgeous rich copper with red undertones. All of the colours bar the taupe are extremely pigmented with very little fall out. The taupe, maybe due to the colour, but it is quite chalky and doesn't really show up on my skin - it requires a lot of energy back and forth, palette to eye!
Longevity, the Rimmel London Brixton Brown Palette lasts pretty well with a primer, although I do find they start to fade a little bit quicker than premium brands such as MAC and Chanel and the vibrancy tends to diminish after a couple of hours. But, for £6.99, or £1.40 per colour, can you really complain! They blend well together and look really effective, especially that copper colour which is my ultimate favourite. I can not say I am a huge fan of the other colours, but once again, Rimmel have not let me down as a budget beauty brand.
