Umberto Giannini Frizzi When Nothing Else Will Do Intense Recovery Mask | Boots | £6
Umberto Giannini Frizzi When Nothing Else Will Do Intense Recovery Mask is a thick, white mask containing argan oil which is designed to nourish and revive hair from within.
This is designed to be used on damp hair after shampooing.
I've used it quite a few times now, as I always do with products before writing a review and so far, the results are good, but not amazing; it's certainly not a HG product.
My hair is very fine and thin, with oily roots and extremely dry ends which are prone to snapping. I can use a hair mask seven times a week, yet my ends will still snap off constantly. With a lot of masks, I find that they weigh my hair down and make it greasy, meaning I have to wash it everyday which is a pain. (I've tried all that not washing it and just can't cope, the less I wash it, the drier and more prone the ends seem to be to snapping). The great thing about this mask is that it doesn't weigh down my hair and it nourishes the ends pretty well. However, within 24 hours, my ends are dry again.
I do have to say that I do not suffer from frizzy hair, so can't test out those claims, nor is my hair rebellious, it's the complete opposite and I struggle to get any movement in it. It is damaged though and dehydrated.
So whilst this works directly after washing and nourishes my hair for a few hours, it just seems to coat my hair without nourishing it from within. I probably won't buy another tub of this and think it would probably work best on people with wild and rebellious, normal hair. I think my hair is beyond hydrating!
Can you recommend any products for extremely dry ends that constantly break that won't weigh down my fine, flyaway hair?
